Many families and disabled people living in Rodney, are unaware of financial support that may be available to them. These can  assist with a range of items and activities, from equipment & health-related matters, to a holiday break!

Wilson Home Grants

Did you know that eligible families living in Rodney, can access these grants from the Wilson Home Trust? Check to see the criteria.

Hallberg Trust

HALBERG ACTIVITY FUND GRANT.

The Halberg Activity Fund helps reduce financial barriers to our young people with physical disabilities and their whanau, with getting involved in sport and recreation.

Eligible to young people aged five to 21, with physical disabilities, the fund can help pay for things like equipment, coaching or even the costs associated with attending school camp.

Kowhai Coast Youth Trust

Helping Young People with Financial Assistance. Kowhai Coast Youth Trust Inc. - based in Warkworth, is dedicated to providing support and resources to young people in our community. The Trust’s aim is to financially assist any local young person whose needs could relate to any area of education, health, cultural or sport.

Rodney Health Charitable Trust

Trust offers health care help
Families and individuals who are finding it financially difficult to meet the cost of health care are being encouraged to apply for assistance from the Warkworth-based Rodney Health Charitable Trust. Anyone living north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge is eligible for a grant to assist with any health-related costs, from surgery to dental treatments.

TimeOut Charity

The Gift of Time Together
TimeOut charity connects holiday homeowners and accomodation providers willing to donate a stay in their property to a person diagnosed with stage 4 cancer or an incurable illness. This break provides support for families bearing the pressures of dealing with a incurable illness, so they can find time and truly reconnect with each other.
